Straight flute tap

It has the strongest versatility, the cutting cone part can have 2, 4, 6 teeth, short cone for impassable hole, long cone for through hole. As long as the bottom hole is deep enough, the cutting cone should be selected as long as possible, so as to share the cutting load of the teeth more, the service life is also longer.

Spiral groove tap

More suitable for processing imperforate thread, experience tells us: processing black metal, spiral Angle selected a little smaller, generally about 30 degrees, to ensure the strength of spiral teeth. Processing of non-ferrous metals, spiral Angle selected a little bigger, can be about 45 degrees, some sharp cutting.

Content chip tap

Its remarkable feature is to open a large enough chip slot in the head, using a special design to achieve higher processing quality. Especially in the processing of large threads has significant advantages. It is widely used in wind power generation, steam turbine, shipbuilding, mining and petroleum industries.

Tap screw tip

When the thread is processed, the chip is discharged forward. Screw tip taps should be preferred for through-hole threads.

Extrusion tap

According to the method of use, they are often divided into hand taps, machine taps, nut taps (used for cutting threads on nut processing machines), die taps (used for cutting and correcting die threads), pipe thread taps and conical thread taps.

Machine and hand taps
